Somalisk imam från Rinkeby anser att muslimer som lämnat sin religion skall dödas.

Det är varje muslims skyldighet att döda dem som lämnar islam. Så lät det nyligen i Sveriges Radio, då en imam från Rinkeby fick lägga ut texten om hur man skulle agera mot somalier som konverterar till kristendomen. Detta var i mångt och mycket en reaktion på att ett antal somaliska konvertiter hade haft mage att hålla hov på torget utanför moskén i Rinkeby. Hade detta utspelat sig i Somalia eller i något annat muslimskt land hade konvertiterna inte längre varit vid liv, var så säker. Förutom att öppen ickeislamsk mission inte accepteras i de flesta muslimska länder så hade det faktum att predikanterna var före detta muslimer sannolikt beseglat "dödsdomen". I vilket fall hade de om de undkommit mobben med livet i behåll kunnat räkna sig som lyckligt lottade.

Detta är det nya Sverige och så här ser många av de troende muslimernas sentiment ut. Och det allra värsta är att det är våra egna politiker som bär skulden till detta, ty de är ju oomtvisteligen det nya Sveriges arkitekter. Och så länge var och en av oss inte slutar rösta på dem kommer de i sin stupida enfald och pompösa självgodhet tolka det som att de har vårt stöd. Det är nu upp till var och en av oss att markera vårt bestämdaste avståndstagande genom att aldrig mer lägga vår röst på dem någonsin mer. Landsförrädare är bara förnamnet.

Åsikten att apostasi skall bestraffas med döden är inte som man kanske skulle kunna tro ett utslag av extremism eller radikal islam, utan kan tvärtom anses avspegla traditionell ortodox islams uppfattning i frågan. Straffet tar i huvudsak sin utgångspunkt i ett antal hadither som kan sägas ligga till grund för sharians stadgande av dödsstraff för detta brott. Nedan följer några av de texter gudslagens stränga straff går tillbaka på.

"Allah's Apostle said, "The blood of a Muslim who confesses that none has the right to be worshipped but Allah and that I am His Apostle, cannot be shed except in three cases: In Qisas for murder, a married person who commits illegal sexual intercourse and the one who reverts from Islam (apostate) and leaves the Muslims." (Sahih Bukhari 9:17)

"Some Zanadiqa (atheists) were brought to 'Ali and he burnt them. The news of this event, reached Ibn 'Abbas who said, "If I had been in his place, I would not have burnt them, as Allah's Apostle forbade it, saying, 'Do not punish anybody with Allah's punishment (fire).' I would have killed them according to the statement of Allah's Apostle, 'Whoever changed his Islamic religion, then kill him.'" (Sahih Bukhari 9:57)

"... .There was a fettered man beside Abu Muisa. Mu'adh asked, "Who is this (man)?" Abu Muisa said, "He was a Jew and became a Muslim and then reverted back to Judaism." Then Abu Muisa requested Mu'adh to sit down but Mu'adh said, "I will not sit down till he has been killed. This is the judgment of Allah and His Apostle (for such cases) and repeated it thrice. Then Abu Musa ordered that the man be killed, and he was killed..." (Sahih Bukhari 9:58)

"Allah's Apostle said, "By Him in Whose Hand my soul is I was about to order for collecting fire-wood (fuel) and then order Someone to pronounce the Adhan for the prayer and then order someone to lead the prayer then I would go from behind and burn the houses of men who did not present themselves for the (compulsory congregational) prayer. ...'" (Sahih Bukhari 11:617)

"Ali burnt some people and this news reached Ibn 'Abbas, who said, "Had I been in his place I would not have burnt them, as the Prophet said, 'Don't punish (anybody) with Allah's Punishment.' No doubt, I would have killed them, for the Prophet said, 'If somebody (a Muslim) discards his religion, kill him.' " (Sahih Bukhari 52:260)

"'Abdullah (b. Mas'ud) reported Allah's Messenger (may peace be upon him) as saying: It is not permissible to take the life of a Muslim who bears testimony (to the fact that there is no god but Allah, and I am the Messenger of Allah, but in one of the three cases: the married adulterer, a life for life, and the deserter of his Din (Islam), abandoning the community." (Sahih Muslim 16:4152)
